About Nick Molina

Nick is an information technology and security operator with more than 15 years of experience building, modernizing, and governing enterprise systems. His work focuses on the practical intersection of operations, security, and business execution, where technical decisions materially affect risk, scalability, and revenue.

He began his career in SaaS marketing and sales, which shaped an outcomes-oriented approach to technology. That foundation led him into operations and, eventually, information security, where systems design, controls, and incentives matter more than theory.

Nick currently serves as Information Security Lead at a 500+ person organization in New York City, where he designs and implements secure systems, controls, and policy frameworks that support growth while managing operational and regulatory risk.

Previously, he spent over a decade at IntegriDATA, a financial-technology company serving the alternative-investment industry. As Head of Operations and Information Security, he led the company’s modernization from legacy infrastructure to a secure, cloud-based operating model, including achieving SOC 2 Type 2 certification. His work and commentary have appeared in HFM (now With Intelligence) and AlphaWeek. He concluded his tenure as a partner and played a key role in the company’s 2024 sale to a private buyer.

This site publishes writing, notes, and practical projects related to systems, risk, and decision-making.
